Hospice Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for a compassionate, talented and experienced Hospice Volunteer Coordinator that is eager to join an exciting, growing organization.

What You Will Do:

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you will use your talent and abilities in many ways, including:

• Act as liaison between hospice and the volunteers regarding patient/family needs
  


• Establish a public relations program to foster good working relations with the volunteers & the community
  


• Demonstrate knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to the recruitment, training & retention of volunteers
  


• Provide clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation and new hire packets; monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, typing, special projects, filing and copying
  

What You Must Have:

• High School Graduate, Graduate of an accredited college/university preferred
  


• Recruitment & Management experience of volunteers strongly preferred
  


• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the IDT, the lay and professional public.
