Primary Responsibilities


  • Support the production departments using root cause analysis to identify and eliminate production problems

  • Assist in launch of new products, working with Manufacturing Engineers in design reviews, design for manufacture and cost estimating

  • Drive root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions

  • Assist the Quality Dept in analyzing and diagnosing process and quality issues and assist with corrective action

  • Aid Manufacturing and Quality Engineers in analyzing and correcting warranty issues

  • Lead small teams to resolve safety, quality or production issues

  • Assist in plant layout, capital equipment selection and justification, and part selection on new equipment

  • Maintain work instructions and develop training material.

Qualifications

  • Strong process expertise in assembly.

  • Must be able to read blueprints and understand basic math (including fractions and decimals.)

  • Basic software skills including BaaN and Mapper preferred.

  • Must have good verbal and written communications skills.
