Primary Function:
This position is responsible for preparing students to be successful in their future careers by developing the requisite skills and knowledge appropriate for graduates. Education/Experience: Education requirements vary based on the teaching assignment. Please refer to the Faculty Qualifications Chart for a complete list of requirements.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and research Internet software and prefer previous working knowledge of CampusVue and Contact Management Software.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
