Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Analyze and organize order information to prepare for outbound shipping.
Analyze and organize order information to prepare for outbound shipping.
Create Bills of Lading and tender loads to warehouse personnel and carriers for delivery.
Work closely with carriers to ensure effective and efficient deliveries.
Follow up on loads to resolve problems.
Walking the warehouse to assist in finding pallets.
Work closely with Customer Service and other departments to satisfy customer needs.
Coordinate with plants on return loads and inbound issues.
Inventory reconciliations and coordination with outside warehouses and/or auditors.
Manage carriers’ claims and investigate PPIR’s.
Work with Freight Payment program and maintain carrier rates.
Claim processing and review for shipping related damage.
Assist with carrier negotiations and contact.
Maintaining ERP system data and serve as key user for IS projects.
Assist Accounting group with freight payment and audit process including the maintaining data for their use.
Assist with International issues.
Perform as a GQS and outside auditor contact.
Administer department policy including expedites, shipping and warehouse issues.
Serve as a point of contact for internal customers for clarification and research on shipping & warehouse related questions.
Inventory reconciliations at outside warehouses including yearly auditor interface.
