Our client is a Japanese Tier-1 Automotive Supplier in the Terre Haute Indiana area.  Due to growth, they are expanding operations.  Our assignment, recruit a Manager Manufacturing Engineering. This leader will manage all manufacturing engineering activities and personnel. Responsible for new product launch, BOM/routing, develop plant layouts and materials/product flow plans. Duties include: preparation of PFMEA, Process Design Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams and APQP.  Evaluate department training needs, develop annual department goals and ensures on-time delivery of all equipment.  Will act as liaison between corporate staff, plant personnel, customers and suppliers regarding production issues. 

Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology plus 8 to 10 years in automotive manufacturing.  Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role.  Must have “hands-on” experience in manufacturing techniques: Kaizen, TPS, SPC, APQP and 20 Tools of Process Control.
