• Heavy modeling / class A surfacing / little tooling


• New product design – head lamps, fog lamps, direction signals – mostly all exterior lighting.


• 5-10+ years experience


• Prefers degree, but will take good Catia V5 designer with experience.


• Use Matrix for their PDM system

Order of Importance!!!!!

1)  Catia… must hit the ground running

2)  Design for Plastic Injection Molded components (90% of our designed components are plastic)

3)  Mechanical Design mindset

4)  Automotive Experience

5)  Automotive Lighting Experience (if they have true experience, then they will have the rest of these)

Mgr wants someone that has lighting experience, but if they have solid plastics automotive experience it will be viable.
