Qualtiy Technician / CMM Operator - Britt Aero - Brazil, IN

Summary;

We are looking for an experienced CMM Quality Technician that is capable of working independently and is a problem solver. This is an opportunity to utilize your expertise.
Duties;

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of CMM programs used for the measurements of manufactured and supplied parts


• Assist and support manufacturing/production personnel with various inspection activities


• Perform detailed analysis of parts to troubleshoot failure mode


• Perform first piece and first article inspection(s) of machined components


• Read and interpret blue prints to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications


• Completion of capability studies with laboratory equipment


• Monitoring of capabilities statistics from CMM


• Maintenance of laboratory equipment


• Activities as assigned related to and in support of the Quality and Environment Management Systems

Job Type: Full-time

Required experience:

• Experience and/or training with CMM programming using LK DMIS or equivalent: 5 years


• Must have knowledge of ISO/AS9100 requirements: 1 year


• General Manufacturing experience (machining/assembly), background in metrology, inspection & testing: 1 year


• Competent in the application and use of various types of attribute & various measurement equipment: 1 year


• Proficient in GD&T, and the understanding of SPC: 1 year

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
