Qualifications

Essential educational/licensure, skills and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  


• May be a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse licensed in the state of Indiana
  


• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and/or certified as a scrub tech in Indiana
  


• Completion of operating room technician training
  


• BLS, NRP Certification required for this position. Certifications must be maintained through out employment
  

• Compliance with all employee health testing and OSHA requirement. Able to take call independently.
  

Valued but not required educational/licensure, skills and experience:

• At least one year experience as a Scrub Tech
  


• Associates Degree
