ViaQuest is currently seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to join our growing Hospice team. Our Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer program including training and coordination of volunteers and development of volunteer services. Ideal candidates have a sincere desire to provide the highest levels of care, choice and independence to the individuals ViaQuest serves.
Your Responsibilities Will Include…
- Implementing and coordinating all activities of the volunteer services program.
- Planning and conducting volunteer support meetings.
- Assigning volunteers to service based on program needs and volunteer’s interests and skills.
- Overseeing performance of the volunteer program.
- Monitoring a record-keeping system including services delivered and time-involved.
- Providing consistent support, feedback and supervision to volunteer services team.
We Are Looking For Someone That…
- Has experience in a related field and volunteer activity.
- Has two or more years of supervisory experience.
- Displays excellent customer service and communication skills.
