Systems Software Analyst - Senior

SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ANALYST – SENIOR (CRANEIT-16-0161-F):

Bowhead seeks a Senior Systems Software Analyst to provide information system software analysis, requirements definition, design development, test, modification, installation, implementation, quality assurance, training, and documentation to meet the evolving data storage and reporting needs of programs and management.


The Senior Systems Software Analyst will:


• Analyze existing IT and Information System (IS) databases, web sites, and applications and recommend new or improved interfaces


• Recommend improved management tools that meet new management requirements, or improve management effectiveness and efficiency.


• Modify, implement, and maintain web based information system and links, develop web-site structure, prepare documentation for population, implement, and maintain web sites.


• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and five (5) years of relevant experience OR a combination of education, experience and certifications.


• IAT Level II Certification required


• Experience analyzing IT and Information System (IS) databases; web sites; and applications


• Experience with web based information system and links, development of web-site structures


• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


DESIRED SKILLS: Prior experience supporting the IT Services Division (Code 104) at NSWC Crane.


SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and maintain access to government/military installations. US Citizenship is a requirement for access to this military installation


Physical Demands: The office environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.

Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification.
