Our client, a world-class manufacturer, is currently looking for a Senior Accountant 

8682 Senior Accountant

• Assists Finance Director with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules.


• Review of monthly balance sheet account analysis.


• Performs budget vs. actual analysis for the Site on a monthly basis.


• Reviews and approves accounts payable, verifying that the payables comply with company policy.


• Reviews and approves applications for new credit arrangements.


• Monitors accounts receivable collections and cash posting.


• Prepares vendor analysis reports and communicates findings with Corporate Purchasing Manager.


• Coordinates with Corporate Purchasing Manager to improve vendor payable terms.


• Apply 6S principles to all areas of the plant.

Experience and Education:

• Ten or more years’ experience in related field and/or training with proven skills


• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the manufacturing of Engine Components, in the Aerospace industry, or in metal fabrication.


• Three or more years experience with ERP-size accounting software.
