Loan Assistant - First Financial Corporation - Terre Haute, IN

Serves as loan assistant to the direct loan department, process loan applications, communicate loan decisions to applicants, request supporting documentation, produce loan documentation, payoffs and loan advances.

Typical Job Entry Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong mathematical aptitude.

• Prior banking experience with a good understanding of bank products and service, loan experience helpful.

• Solid knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs.


Primary Activities

• Track pending items for various loan types.

• Produce loan closing documents.

• Process loan applications.

• Interview consumer applicants and input information into loan software program.

• Answers telephone and assists customers.

• Prepare loan documents for loan processing.

• Filing as needed.
