Inventory Clerk - Temp to Hire Opportunity! - Kelly Services - Brazil, IN

Job Description

Inventory Clerk needed for manufacturing facility in Brazil Indiana. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled individual with previous inventory control, purchasing or accounting experience.

In this role the qualified candidate will be responsible to:
Collect and sort results sheets turned in from previous day’s production.

Check that all are entered correctly on computer system.

Data enter material reports from on-line production work orders.

Using supply and demand analyze material needs of the Fabrication shop for each week.

Process and print work orders.

Select current engineering drawing for each work order, copy drawing and send to the shop with work order.

Update engineering drawings when new ones are added or the revision changes.Confirm the latest revision is kept on file for use with Fabrication shop orders.

Close out all work orders by issuing all material and completing the work order.

Daily processing orders for rejected or lost parts, job changes or late charge outs from engineering. Communicating with Inventory Supervisor when inventory adjustments are needed.

Requirements

Strong computer skills important – must be flexible to work in multiple systems simultaneously.

Professional communication skills as this position interacts with engineers as well as plant floor staff.

Ability to manage tasks with strong attention to detail.

Adaptability to understand that frequent interruptions are a normal part of the job.

Technical skills to have a basic understanding of engineering prints.
