Wabash Valley Psychiatry is a two physician private practice office seeking a front office medical receptionist on a part time basis (25-28 hours/week).

Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and communicating with providers


• Checking in patients, verifying demographics and insurance, obtaining copays


• Scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments


• Filing and retrieving medical charts


• Answering phones and addressing caller needs

Applicants must have basic computer skills including word, downloading and uploading documents, attaching files, and be able to be trained in the use of an electronic health record.

Two or more years minimum administrative, medical secretarial or similar office/department experience required.
