The Human Resource Assistant will be responsible for providing support of Human Resource administrative functions including, communicating and applying personnel policies and procedures, understand and communicate corporate benefit programs, entering data for all employees, and participating in new hire orientation. This position is the key user for the administration of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and will process bi-weekly payroll. The incumbent deals with confidential information and reports to the Human Resource Manager.
This position also provides clerical support for the Manufacturing Department. This involves maintaining production department measurements and controlled documents. Perform general file maintenance, data entry and word processing support for the Manufacturing Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or HR certification is desired.
Five years prior experience in Human Resources is required and at least two years’ experience performing administrative duties for a managerial position.
Good communication, great people skills, writing, and computer skills are necessary.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality.
