Part Time Office Manager - Council on Domestic Abuse, Inc. (CODA) - Terre Haute, IN






The Council on Domestic Abuse, Inc. operates an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, serving a five-county region in Indiana. In addition, CODA offers legal advocacy from the Vigo County Courthouse, extensive awareness and prevention education to the community, and a 24-hour crisis hotline.This position offers 30 hours a week working in CODA’s administrative office. Examples of responsibilities include bookkeeping (accounts receivable and payable entries, cutting checks, and assisting the company’s accountant in managing all financial record-keeping, using Quickbooks), maintaining the donor database, filing paperwork, answering phones, opening mail, running office-related errands (must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, insurance), accepting donations, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. Experience using Quickbooks software is required, along with skills using Excel, Word, and other Office programs.Office hours for this position will be 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday.If you have had a personal experience with domestic violence or sexual assault, it must be more than two years since an occurrence.
