Security Home Inspections, Inc. is the leading home inspection company in the Midwest and we are looking for motivated individuals with strong communication skills to join our team to service the Greencastle/Terre Haute area. We are a successful and always growing Carmel based home inspection company that has been in business since 1985.Home inspectors evaluate new or previously owned houses to determine the condition of the home’s systems and structure. They often work for prospective homebuyers who want to know about potential problems in advance. You would be examining structural quality, home systems and features including roofing, exterior, attached garage or carport, foundation, interior, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems.This is a physically demanding job and will require the inspector to work outside in all elements, move through small spaces, walk on roofs, and get from one location to another quickly/efficiently.Requirements: * You must have background in at least one of the following areas: * Engineering* Architecture* General Contracting* Building Inspector* Residential Construction* Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.We offer: * Full-time* Paid continuing education, license renewals, insurance* Experienced mentorsJob Type: Full-timeRequired experience: * General Contracting, Residential Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Building Inspector: 1 yearRequired education: * High school or equivalent
