Logistics Specialist - Junior

LOGISTICS SPECIALIST – CRANE-16-0437-F

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Specialist in support of the Radar Technologies Division at NSWC Crane. This position will be focused on Parts/Inventory management, Configuration Management (CM), iPDM, and other logistics functions for various radar systems to improve efficiencies.


Sitting for long periods of time.


— Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience.


— Prior experience supporting NSWC Crane


— Prior experience with SWMS preferable


— SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must hold a current security clearance at the SECRET level.


SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must obtain security clearance at the SECRET level. Active Secret clearance highly desired. U.S. Citizenship required for Secret clearance access.


Physical Demands: Office Environment – – The environmental conditions consist of computer stations and desks with adequate and adjustable lighting. Chairs are designed to fit the various individuals and the tasks being performed. Ergonomic evaluations are completed as needed, to provide up to date modifications to all work stations.

If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check. Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification. In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.
