The Loss Prevention Officer has thorough knowledge of Ascena Retail Group, Inc.’s security and life safety procedures. Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft, life safety and operational issues. Position Responsibilities • Checks employee ID badges to control facility egress and logs visitors/contractors. • Monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems • Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures. • Conducts daily (i.e. outbound/inbound audits, safety/security checklists, etc.) and monthly audits and facility inspections • Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources/information • Secures facility during non-operational hours • Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need • Responsible for creating incident/injury report and applying first aid in times of need • Performs other administrative duties as need by LP Management • Tracking and monitoring all damaged, pilfered carton reports Requirements
