Our Expectation of our Vault Tellers:
Along with the rest of the Branch Management team, Vault tellers are the face of our company and represent First Financial Bank in the community.
As well as daily vault operation duties, Vault Tellers introduce customers to new products and services, and generate leads for other members of the sales team to close. Our best Vault Tellers go the extra mile to greet customers, make them feel welcome, and engage customers to learn about their financial needs. When needed, Vault Tellers may serve as a Teller and process customer transactions. An excellent Teller can process between 15 – 20 transactions an hour with no mistakes while demonstrating patience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience interacting with people or customers

Primary Operational Activities

Fills orders for currency and coins for both customers and tellers.
·
Counts and records cash deposits in vault.
·
Counts currency, coins and checks received for deposit in vault from businesses or bank branches. Records deposit in customer account record.
·
Removes specified amount of currency and coins from vault and places cash in bag for shipment to businesses or bank branches. Records amount of cash shipped.
·
Counts and records large denomination bills, mutilated currency, etc. for shipment to Federal Reserve Bank.
·
Balances transactions for day and records results.
·
Performs as a teller as necessary.
·
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned position.
