Cook / Prep Cook - Canteen Services Inc - Terre Haute, IN

Canteen Services is now seeking qualified candidates for our correctional food service position at our Vigo County location. Employees must have strong character and perform well in a structured environment.
Position duties include:

• meal preparation and service;


• cleaning of facilities and equipment;


• other duties are to be expected.


• Work is performed alongside inmate workers.

Requirements for this position include:

• availability to work weekends and holidays;


• ability to pass background check and drug screen;


• clear driving record;


• high school diploma or GED.

A background in corrections is helpful, but not required. Six months’ experience as a cook preferred, but not required.

Hourly pay starts at $12.00.
