Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II that will utilize your experience and talents to develop assigned suppliers in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and supplier process reviews


• Lead component part design review meetings


• Work with the company’s Buyer to gather information and make decisions relevant to product sourcing


• Review and approve ISIR submissions


• Assist Purchasing in coordinating all Localization activities


• Support Design group with VA/VE ideas for purchased components & materials

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline


• 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience
  (5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Customer Relations within automotive supplier manufacturing, experience in a JIT manufacturing environment are preferred)
